About the film
In a Scottish port town, a young woman finds her boyfriend dead at Christmas. His suicide note asks her to send his finished manuscript out to publishers – which she does, but in her own name. She continues to show up for work at the local supermarket and takes her best friend on a clubbing holiday to Spain. She tells no one that he is dead.
